Conscious Business means different things to different people. To us it means each individual making the effort to stay conscious and aware: of themselves, of other people, and of what is happening in the world around them.
From this approach emerges a critical view of how business and management currently operate. So while we also acknowledge the very many positive changes that are under way, we are interested in helping bring about a world where business and management, and the economic system of which they are part, work better – for a wider set of stakeholders.
This means delving into solutions such as consciousness, noticing and awareness themselves. And others such as purpose, a clearer ethical position, sustainability, increased transparency, profit as a fuel and so on.
We are also keen to focus on and celebrate the good examples – where acting more consciously in all its senses leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.
